CAMP
MAYBE IT'S TIME TO GO HOME.

When Emily arrives, she is taken in by the other counselors, who accept her as she is and wrap her in a veil of peace and forgiveness. Emily stands at the forefront of a new kind of life, but there's a voice out there in the woods she can't ignore, telling Emily to go home.
The sophomore feature from Avalon Fast, who at 25 became one of the youngest recipients of Fantastic Fest's Next Wave Award when "Camp" took the prize at the 2025 festival. Selected as one of the Letterboxd crew's fifteen favorite films from the 2025 fall festivals, Fast works in what she calls "girl horror" — a mode more interested in the emotional texture of grief and guilt than in conventional scares. "Camp" is the fullest expression of that instinct yet: a film about a young woman who finds radical acceptance in the most unexpected place, with everything that costs.
