In a trans separatist cult called the Polygon Angels, Circle lives in a New York basement, subsisting on ketamine, therapy-speak, and the comfort of never facing the outside world. When Circle tries to leave, she’s pulled between the cult’s suffocating safety and a crass “ex-nonbinary” woman named Keller who offers escape—at a cost.

Although it follows the first chapter of the anthology, this is a fully standalone film and a formally distinct one — trading the first entry's restless energy for a more claustrophobic, interior study of belonging, escape, and the spiritual cost of community. The eighth highest-rated underseen film of 2025 on Letterboxd.
