In a trans separatist cult called the Polygon Angels, Circle lives in a New York basement, subsisting on ketamine, therapy-speak, and the comfort of never facing the outside world. When Circle tries to leave, she’s pulled between the cult’s suffocating safety and a crass “ex-nonbinary” woman named Keller who offers escape—at a cost.

Although this is Part II in the Castration Anthology, it works as a standalone chapter that explores the spiritual friction of existing within a community. Part III is coming in 2026.
