IS THIS HOW IT ENDS?

In the small town of Hope Harbor, a group of police officers and hunters attempt to track down a mysterious creature wreaking havoc. What begins as a search for a wild animal becomes a catastrophe of cosmic proportions as they become prey for these otherworldly beings.

The long-awaited return of Na Hong-jin, the filmmaker behind "The Wailing," and a Letterboxd crew pick from the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Reportedly the most expensive Korean film ever made, it pairs Korean stars Hoyeon, Hwang Jung-min and Zo In-sung with an international cast including Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander and Taylor Russell. A bonkers, full-throated sci-fi epic of small-town cops against bloodthirsty extraterrestrials, built around a masterfully staged hour-long monster hunt and a staggering climactic chase, this is action filmmaking at its most unapologetic.
