An Argentinian money exchanger finds himself involved in a series of problems that lead him on a marathon odyssey against the clock.

Only previously released in its home country of Argentina, "Paytime" arrives on Letterboxd Video Store with comparisons already drawn to "Uncut Gems" and "Red Rocket" — propulsive, street-level and visceral enough that you feel like you can smell the Buenos Aires pavement. At a tight 63 minutes, it's all momentum and no filler. The feature debut of a filmmaker who was just 24 at the time of its world premiere at BAFICI 2024, also winning the Youth Award for Best Film at the Granada International Festival of Young Filmmakers.
