Sorrow hangs like a veil over the family home, where his mother clings desperately to signals from the beyond. Armed only with his MiniDV camera and intense curiosity, he embarks on a voyage into the pounding heart of human darkness.

The follow-up to Robbie Banfitch's found-footage debut "The Outwaters" — written, directed, shot, edited and starred in by Banfitch, opposite his real-life mother Leslie Ann Banfitch. Where many found-footage films sacrifice character for dread, "Tinsman Road" earns its terror by making you genuinely care about the people on screen before pulling the rug out — an investigation of grief that gets under your skin and stays there. Won a Jury Award Honorable Mention at the Calgary Underground Film Festival.
